Start that you finished

Or that was the opposite. Not even correct grammatically. It is a paradox

Finish what you started

Should not it be, “Finish what you (or I) started”. I said it like that because this is the way it happens most of the time. Before finishing anything we tend to start new things.

Let us rephrase.

“I will Start that I will finish”

Now I can start one thing or many things. Expand it more

“I will start something  and I will finish it”

“I will start something that interests me and I will finish it”

Further…

“I will start something that interests me, make small progress everyday and I will finish it”

Stretch a little…..

“I will start something that interests me, make small progress everyday , will not be affected by setbacks and I will finish it”

Almost there…

“I will start something that interests me, make small progress everyday , will not be affected by setbacks and if I get stuck, I will ask for help and I will finish it”

Summarize

“I will start

  • something that interests me,
  • make small progress everyday ,
  • I will not be affected by setbacks and
  • if I get stuck, I will ask for help and
  • I will finish it”

Grew like a monster isn’t it ? Would you like to add more ?

Well, Ashvini…nothing can be better than this. It is certainly very motivating and I completely agree…everything begins with a start and goes apt with our daily lives. I also agree to Nicola…Planning is what is required before initiating anything. Great post!

I have several blog and, yes…this happens to me too. Often I tend to start two or three things togheter before to finish one. However, that doesn’t good because you end up to get bad quality results. Now I tend to create a plan before to start to work.

Hey Nicola,
Thanks for providing your input on my post. I have been learning how to plan something and that has just changed the way I look at things.

Thanks and regards,
Ashvini
